George Chase would not believe what his little gas and service station has been transformed into! Soul Sisters Ceramics, located on Main Street in Courtland, is one of the town’s newest businesses. Owned by Shanna Lindberg and Michelle Lindberg (who are not actually sisters) they started their business in January of 2017 selling their one-of-a-kind ceramic jewelry on After attending some vendor fairs, they decided they would like to have a shop of their own and the dream of repurposing the old gas station became a reality. They purchased the building from the City in March 2018 and opened in July. The store began with an inventory of jewelry and mugs that they were selling on their Etsy business, along with a handful of Made in Kansas products. They have since expanded their inventory to include home décor items, bags, kitchen accessories, and most recently designer apparel for Pike Valley, our local school. They offer paint-your-own pottery, by walk-in or appointment. You can schedule a private party for children’s birthdays, or paint-and-sip parties; a favorite for ladies’ night out. They will fire the pottery that you paint and have it ready for pick up in a few days. They love the convenience of being our closest customer, always feel welcome when they walk in where everyone is glad to see them, and everyone wants to know what new items they have added to the store. We hope that you will consider purchasing your Christmas gifts right here in town this holiday season. They are stocking up on great gifts including toys, baby blankets and so much more.
A big Courtland retail salute to Soul Sister Ceramics.
